Wake-up 4:00 am, toast with nut butter, tea. Drive to the Bronx at 5:00, arrive to race site by 6:00 am. Pick up race packet and be a voyeur.

Kept a consistent pace throughout. Bathroom break at mile 6.

Not a thing.

Warm down:

Walked 20 minutes back to parked car.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I didn't start my run training until June 2nd due to meniscus repair in March

Event comments:

Running in the Bronx is great. You don't get to really experience much of the Bronx when you run the NYC marathon. The Bronx Half gives you a real feel for the neighborhoods!
