Pre-race routine:

Up at 5:00 and had coffee and a mini cliff bar while getting dressed. Left hotel at 5:45 to head over to transition.

My swimming sucks. I swam sidestroke the whole way.. but I felt good and could have kept going..
What would you do differently?:

Get my freestyle right so I don't have to swim side stroke!

Good transition. I took my time getting to my bike as last year I was dizzy coming out of water and actually lost my cookies..

I had a great ride. Passed many, got passed by few. Some patches of the road were that bumpy texture which really slowed me down. Could have pushed it a bit harder.
What would you do differently?:

Pushed a bit harder and drank more water. Had my gatorade in my top bottle rack instead of water and it was leaving nasty film in my mouth! Ick!

My mind got the best of me and I walked half of the run. When I was running I was having trouble pacing myself and running too fast and puttered out. Had no reason to walk, I could have crushed that run!!!
What would you do differently?:

So mad at myself for the run! Running is totally mental for me and I shouldn't have let my mind take over! Next time I will pace myself from the get go and run the whole way!!

Warm down:

Met up with family and friends and made a run for it when the rain came down!! :)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Uh..the walking during the run! Swimming side stroke...
