got up and began hydrating, ate a multi-grain bagel, but mostly hydrated.

What would you do differently?:

Be a little more aggressive off the start, don't panic when a wave hits me and throws off my rhythm.

Felt great immediately once i was on the bike. I was down on the aero bars right away passing guys 100 lbs less that me with very expensive bikes. I was on my trek 1.5 road bike with clip on aeros. I continued to pass throughout the course till i found a group on the back half of about 6. we all traded back and forth till another guy and myself broke away. Great ride overall, by far my best.
What would you do differently?:

have a nicer bike, get stronger on the hills, that's the only place i was passed, learn to drink/eat without losing speed.
