Swim
Comments: Kept swaying away to the right of the course due to under-current. Could have done it within 30mins! Transition 1
Comments: Had to stop to stretch my right leg before the Bike Mount line. Took over a minute before i started on my bike. Bike
Comments: Started well until the 10miles way back with head wind and was down to 15mph at times. Took a GU gel and gained some energy towards the end, speed up a little by the end of the 5miles which caused me the run later... What would you do differently?: Do more long distance and speed training. Never to speed up towards the end, preserve energy for the run. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Still not my forte! Started very slow and stopped at every water stations to drink and splash water to keep cool. Left leg cramped on the way back at Mile 4, had to stop to stretch. What would you do differently?: More long distance run and speed work. Post race
Warm down: Drink lots of water and relax. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not enough training! Event comments: The Bike racks are very confusing. Cant find my rack and had to ask a Volunteer for assistance. Took me over 5mins and another 5mins for her to find my rack. Other than that, its a well organized race. Would be nice to have a little medal or memento though... at the finish line we didnt get a thing, just bottled water! Last updated: 2010-08-05 12:00 AM

Have been trying PB&J (Crustable) the past week, just didnt work making my tummy bloated. So, I just took a PowerBar, banana & some milk. Lots of relaxation and remain calm.
Just a little stretch before the swim & again relax my mind. I went down to the water just to get wet and a few strokes to have my body adjusted to the temp. When got back up, it got windy and I felt a little cold.
