Pre-race routine:

Woke up. Ate PB&J, and sipped on Diet Mtn. Dew and G'ade while driving to the race. It was raining pretty hard with lightning on the way to the race.
Event warmup:

After setting up transition, I rode about 10 miles w/ some pickups, ran about 3 w/ pickups, and swam b/w 5 and 10 minutes.

I pushed the pace hard on the bike. Today was my fastest bike split at this course. I probably could have been a little faster if I wouldn't have been messing with my bike computer in the beginning of the bike leg. My speedo wouldn't come on and I wasted some time turning it off and on trying to get it to pick up.
What would you do differently?:

Keep pushing the pace/effort in training.

The run was overcast but humid. I was hoping to break 22' but it just didn't happen.

Try to increase my focus on running.

Warm down:

Sat in the pond, ate some water melon, and drank some g'ade. After I cooled off I ran 3 miles w/ a friend.

Event comments:

Final race of the 2010 Charleston Triathlon Series. I raced in 3 of the five races in the series. I was lucky enough to podium in 2 of the 3 races.
