ate a few shot bloks and drank some coffee. gelled about 20 minutes prior to swim.

an okay swim for me, not great. They wouldn't let us warmup at the start so I was treading water and doing some small strokes to get ready before the gun went off.

sight a little more often, swim faster!

a cooler day, took in less water on the bike and I think that's the call, especially a sprint distance. Getting blown around pretty good.
What would you do differently?:

I would have loved to have a look at the course beforehand, but what can you do? Didn't have a clue what was around the next bend or corner.

couldn't find my legs until around the 1.5 mile mark. A little cold coming off the bike, I think. Gelled up and felt better. Definitely negative split this one.
What would you do differently?:

Wish I could have started out a little stronger, would have moved me up considerably.

haven't been able to train much lately.

I'll be back. The only thing I can knock them for is not letting us have a swim warm up.
