Kept a comfortable pace up to mile 3 and started to pick it up, at Mile 5 -my effort level went up to 9 and by the last 1/2 it was pushing 10. I was exhausted after the run.
What would you do differently?:

I don't need to push so hard on the run next time.

Warm down:

Laid down on the grass for at least 20min. Felt really dizzy for awhile.

first time racing it - from my perspective, it was an excellent race.
