Comments: Started off at med/hard pace...staying comfortable. Separated from pack by 150yds. Swam straight to first turn. Was swimming with a guy, but he was swimming a crappy line home, so I picked it up a little to get some separation. Last wave, so had to swim around a few racers...not too bad though. What would you do differently?: Swim a harder 2nd half. Transition 1
Comments: Pretty good T1, ran hard. A bit of trouble getting feet into shoes. Bike
Comments: Rode pretty hard, had some good speed on downhills(28+mph). For a three loop course, not much drafting. Did call a guy out for drafting twice(basically the entire last lap) decided not to get mad & let him cheat(even though he was in my AG) & just ride my race. What would you do differently?: Push it harder. Transition 2
Comments: Crappy T2, missed rack, couldn't get feet into shoes. Run
Comments: Ran med. pace. Haven't ran much this summer due to calve issues. Steady, even pace. Passed last 1.0 by 2nd place AG'er. Post race
Warm down: Stretching, hydration, food. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of run training. Came out of T2 with my AG leader, but couldn't hang on the run. 20' spin w/3X2'/1.5'R LT+, spinning, 5' jog, not much of swim WU, too shallow.
