Comments: Good run for the first 4 miles. Very hilly course even though the race director said it was "mainly flat with a few hills." There was no flat portion on the course. Downhills do a number on my knees, and it caught up with me at about 4.25 miles when my left knee locked up and forced me to either walk or run with some pretty serious pain. So I walked at a fairly slow pace. I still was only 1:45 off my goal time, but it could have been so much better. What would you do differently?: Run on a flatter course. Post race
Warm down: Walked around trying to get my knee loosened up again. What limited your ability to perform faster: My stupid knee. Event comments: No course maps, hard to reach the start line which caused the race to start late. Last updated: 2010-08-10 12:00 AM
