Pre-race routine:

Got up early, ate a bagel with peanut butter, drank some coffee, met Heidi McGuire at Catherine store for the ride up to Snowmass.
Event warmup:

Got in line with the rest and hoped for the best!

Comments:

Hard run, narrow single track not a lot of room to pass, just focused on not falling, and run as much as I could, walked a lot of the up hill.
What would you do differently?:

be more agressive on the passing, I could have ran a lot faster than I did, but just got too comfortable.
Post race
Warm down:

Laid down for a few minutes after the finish, then tried to keep moving and stretching, calves and feet were cramping pretty good.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not agressive enough on the passing, need to work on some up hill walking, running for that first mile. I've been doing hill repeats, just need to do some training on the steeper stuff.

Event comments:

Need more/different food at the end, sandwich didn't have any meat in it, the only post race beverage was water and beer, the only post race food was the BBQ, which was pasta salad, sandwhich, chips and some watermelon. Need something a little hardier.
