Comments: This is my strongest portion. I felt good during the swim. No problems at the start, a little crowded at the buoys, overall a good swim. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: I fumbled a little bit with my helmet - actually dropped it. What would you do differently?: I will leave my helmet unbuckled next time Bike
Comments: I am not a strong cyclist. Overall, I did ok and this is a good result for me. I felt a little fatigued on the hills. Tried to be careful on the wet pavement. What would you do differently?: Train more on the bike. Transition 2
Comments: I am very careful about tying my shoes and this costs me a little time. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: I felt very tired and a little heavy legged during the run. I was hoping for about 22 - a little disappointed in my run. What would you do differently?: Not sure - I was just a little tired. Possibly rest more prior to the event, better tapering. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, kept moving, drank water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of bike power, slight fatigue during the run. Event comments: Great race, beautiful venue. I will be back, probably attempt the international next year. Last updated: 2010-08-15 12:00 AM
