Swim
What would you do differently?: get further up for start. I spent to much of the first segment trying to fight my way through winding me for the later segments. Transition 1
Comments: I was very winded from the swim and a bit shaky What would you do differently?: Move faster Bike
Comments: I can't explain Farmland Rd I wish Keith was out there to give me a better reference. I also drank way too much electrolyte between the start and the entrance to the loop, nearly half the bottle (12oz) What would you do differently?: Ride faster on farmland rd Transition 2
Comments: Lost some time because the exit was at the bottom and I went to the top first What would you do differently?: Exit at the bottom, which means pay attention during setup to where the entrance/exit is Run
Comments: First mile was great an 8:12, second mile the wheels came off I was at 19:00. Started over drinking and got the belly slosh Great sprint for the finish What would you do differently?: Less drinking, slow up on the first mile Post race
Warm down: Cola, stretching, dry shirt, lots of walking, roll out calfs with pain stick before got in the car What limited your ability to perform faster: New race for me, I'm saying it was the wind on the bike but I'm not certain. Need to get some 8 mile runs in Event comments: Great race, loved the town and the pasta dinner Last updated: 2010-08-16 12:00 AM
