run faster at end - wasn't sure it was the end until I turned the corner and saw the finish right there.

Event comments:

Clearer instructions for swim needed. Start on time, not 15 early. If the run course continues to be a confusing loopy route, needs better volunteer assistance on run course to guide runners in the correct direction. I saw several people miss a loop (or I ran an extra loop!). But having said that, I loved the lake and the hilly bike ride and the name. I plan to do next year's race!
