Swim
Comments: hughe melt down. I do not know what happened to me I got to about 125 yards and I could not breath. I felt like I was drowning. I wish I could tell you what happened. What would you do differently?: swim better Transition 1
Comments: again not sure what happened. my ear piece fell off my helmet then my garmin falls off my bike. What would you do differently?: talking to Rudy Project and get my helmet fixed. Bike
Comments: well once again in a strange move I was faced with teh Chrisy Wellington situation. Well I found out my answer. while on my way to a record breaking bike ride. I cme upon someone who I thought got hit by a car. When I came to the intersection my Garmin popped off again as I stoppe to inquire if he need help the police officer immediatly had my garming back in my hand as I was handing Chir Lansford a tube and my air chuck and air cartridge. I still managed to finish my bike ridee with a 21.6mph ride. What would you do differently?: nothing I would do it again. I have learned that it is not what youwin but how you win the hardware. Transition 2
Comments: great transistion What would you do differently?: nothing went very smooth Run
Comments: Best 5k run of the year. what more can I say and strangly enough not a single problem from the time I gave up the tube to the finish. What would you do differently?: nothing. Post race
Warm down: walked around and cooled down so I can run with Tony K. What a 5k. I love it running with a 1st time triathlete. this was my 3rd honor to run a fellow new triathlete. It is starting to by my favorite thing to do at triathlons. What limited your ability to perform faster: Here is where I am suppose to say i need to fix this and fix that butI cannot do that this time. I would not and will not change anything. What happened today was a meeting of triathlon fate. Things happen for a reason and ll the tlittle thing happened to put me in the right spot at teh right time. The lesson learned was its not to win but how you win. Chris Lansford placed 3rd in his age-group and I placed 3rd in mine. I believe It was a double win for me. Now you may ask do you think you could have won your age-group had you not stopped? well maybe, or maybe not it just wasnt meant to be. Event comments: Great race. greeat fun, would tell everyone to do this race. A grat year ending race. Last updated: 2010-08-20 12:00 AM
