Leg's felt really stiff the first few miles. Felt much better after that.

Try to keep my cadence up, especially on the uphills.

The most BEAUTIFUL course I've done yet! The biggest downside to this race (and it is a BIG downside) is the point-to-point factor. Me and my friends spent literally 2.5 hours driving around leaving our shoes at one point, our bike at another, and a car at the end of the race. You have to enlist a crew of friends and family members who aren't involved in the race if you aren't willing to make it a 6 hour affair. I might not do it again...but then again...the course really was stunning.
