Pre-race routine:

Drove to Tarrawarra Estate and arrived early expecting to be able to register and then drive to finish line to catch the bus back to the start at Tarrawarra - however, we were informed we "probably" didn't have enough time so we just hung out at the cafe waiting for start.
Event warmup:

Didn't do too much... I felt warm and only spent 5 mins or so stretching before jogging down to start line (approx 200 meters).

Comments:

Started strong and got into good rythem and position early. First hill was a bit of a killer, but began to look forward to the downhill sections! My hip started to hurt a little during the last km but all-in-all I was very happy with the run!
What would you do differently?:

Perhaps stretch a little better before the race.

Warm down:

Minimal. Walked around finish area (in the rain and mud) and waited for Lori to finish (She did awesome... 50min 16sec).



What limited your ability to perform faster:

Still early into my training and my stamina isn't as good as it could be to get better.

Event comments:

Nothing to do with Race organinsation, however the finish area was very muddy due to the rain... but all-in-all.. very good!
