What would you do differently?:

not freaking out! I did the swim doing breast stroke - because my freestyle technique is simply non-existent and I just want to let people know - its fine - you can do the tri with a breast stroke and you won't be that slow either. I had a sleeveless wetsuit - which worked fine with the breast stroke.

biking is my strength and I absolutely loved this leg of the tri. could go really fast, had plenty of space for overtaking.

my legs were tired out after swimming and running, so my pace was awfully slow.

more brick training

Warm down:

rehydrating and waiting in the shade for the re-opening of the transition area to claim the bike.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I was very tired in the end - so I think I need more brick training: cycling-running.

this tri was my first and I'll be back next year - fantastic experience.
