Good swim. Not much bumping and grinding from other swimmers. First leg I didn't have anyone near me. After that I had to navigate around some breast strokers from the first wave and got squeezed between a couple of swimmers near the finsih.

They announced any bike not racked properly was moved. When I looked at the rack and didn't see my bike I got nervous. Fortunately I was looking at the wrong rack!

Felt sluggish on the bike. Maybe it was due to the inclines and wind. I have had better rides but my training has been for longer distances and slower paces.

Good run. Wanted to keep under 10 mpm and averaged around 9:43. At the start I felt really tired from the bike but just keep a nice pace. Finished strong.

Event comments:

Well run race by local tri club. Only comment is the food choice at the end. The only thing was barbeque pork sandwiches and baked beans. I saw a few bananas but that was it.
