Lots of fluids, a very nice ice-cold towel, and some shade.

Event comments:

I had a lot of fun at this race. It was my first Triathlon but I did not feel overly nervous. My one complaint is the surface from the exit point of the swim into the transition area. The trail was very rough, lots of rocks, and even pieces of broken glass. I saw several people bleeding from small cuts in their feet in transition. Other than that, I can't wait for my next triathlon!
