Pre-race routine:

wake up at 4:30 leave house at 5:30. arrived in Pittsburgh, got lost as usual, found parking garage, found shuttle bus to start line. wore my usual training pants a sleeveless shirt and my Great Race long sleeve shirt (it was nippy in the morning) walked around and around at the start line had to wait there about 2 1/2 hours (thats what i get for being OCD and have to arrive some where extra early)

the run was good, in the middle of the race there were slight hills i walked up them. then decided to walk/run up the hills. the last two miles i ran 90% of
What would you do differently?:

i need to stretch more, and need to get new shoes, i'm way over due, but didn't want to get them right befor this race. now i need to work on getting faster. at least to a 10 min/mile pace thats my goal

This race is very well organized, and it's fun to run with so many people. the volunteers are great! even to those of us who are far in the back of the pack
