Comments: My swimming has tailed off a little the past month and I could tell the last 150-200 yards. What would you do differently?: plan on doing the race more than 3 days in advance. Transition 1
Comments: Long run of about 500 yards to transition. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Bike
Comments: Changed my bar setup a week ago and it felt much better. I passed a lot of people on the bike. What would you do differently?: Not much, maybe climb a little slower at the beginning to possible have a little more later on in the course. Transition 2
Comments: Skipped socks this race and had Yankz on for only the 2nd run with them. Worked good, but the seams in my shoes did cause some chaffing on the tops of my toes. What would you do differently?: I would like to try some specific sockless running shoes. Run
Comments: Blew up on the last mile, but overall ran pretty good. What would you do differently?: I think I just need to still work on my run training. Do more miles, do more time, do more bricks. Post race
Warm down: Played with Noah and drank some water before getting the post race food. What limited your ability to perform faster: I was not as mentally prepared for this race as I should have been. I was physically better prepared than I thought I would be. Event comments: I like this race course and it is only 12 miles from home. A good way to end my tri season.
