Pre-race routine:

I decided at the last minute to do this race, so mentally I was not 100% ready.

What would you do differently?:

plan on doing the race more than 3 days in advance.

What would you do differently?:

Changed my bar setup a week ago and it felt much better. I passed a lot of people on the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Not much, maybe climb a little slower at the beginning to possible have a little more later on in the course.

Skipped socks this race and had Yankz on for only the 2nd run with them. Worked good, but the seams in my shoes did cause some chaffing on the tops of my toes.
What would you do differently?:

I would like to try some specific sockless running shoes.

I think I just need to still work on my run training. Do more miles, do more time, do more bricks.

Warm down:

Played with Noah and drank some water before getting the post race food.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I was not as mentally prepared for this race as I should have been. I was physically better prepared than I thought I would be.

Event comments:

I like this race course and it is only 12 miles from home. A good way to end my tri season. Bring on Reach the Beach and cyclocross.
