Swim
Comments: This was the first really crowded swim that I have been involved in. I did pretty good with the bumping and pushing, but it was new and I spent some mental energy dealing with it. What would you do differently?: I'm not sure I would do anything differently. Maybe wear bootys or one of those caps. Might consider getting ear plugs. Transition 1
Comments: I didn't rush. What would you do differently?: Go faster - I was 46 out of 50 Bike
Comments: Bike route started with a 1 mile climb. The road was occasionally bumpy, but was nice. I spent the entire time getting passed. What would you do differently?: My tires weren't pumped up enough. Fortunately I asked the bike guys to pump it up before the race. Ride harder / faster. Transition 2
Comments: Didn't rush What would you do differently?: Go faster. I was 42 out of 50. Run
Post race
Event comments: Good race. Everything was on time and organized. Some of the roads for the bike were a little choppy, but maybe that can't be helped. Last updated: 2010-09-11 12:00 AM

I had a rough night with some knee and ankle pain...didn't sleep well at all, but woke up and felt fine. Showered and shaved. Got there about 90 min early.
Ate part of a power bar, banana, and gu before swim, gu before bike, gu on bike, gu before run
No real warm up. A little stretch and a brief swim.
