Comments:

since IT band had been twinging the past couple of weeks, I started out conservatively. My goals was to run the race at at 10 minute pace. Max and Rob were running the Kathy, so May and I decided to run together...but I lost May at the first porta potty, so I ran the rest of the race by myself. I picked up the pace the last few miles. Mile 12 split was 9:12. I ended feeling strong.

Warm down:

Hung with the gang and was joined by Nicki, and watched kathy and rob run through the finish line. Meeting friends and enjoying each other's camraderie make this sport so much more fun. drank and ate a dry bagel.

Event comments:

It was fun running on Memorial Drive and cheering on Glen, Max and May (I missed Kathy and Rob) as they ran in the opposite direction. Great race. I'll be back next year.
