Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 0330, dressed, ate cereal and roll, got to race early, sat, then stretched with my running group.

Ran first 1.5 miles, then did 5 min run/1 min walk routine until the last 2 miles - ran last two miles. Felt great miles 7-11, had to push the last two. Steve helped!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Slight pain in left knee. Legs got tired around mile 11.

Event comments:

Good, fun race, just very crowded. We were dodging people the whole 13.1 miles! Then the finishing chute was CRAZY! Just too crowded!
