Comments:

Shitty ride. Lost bottles on the first lap, so nothing to drink for most of the ride. Stopped for 2-3 minutes to help another rider on the bike. That cost me some serious time and momentum on the bike. Ultimately, it ended up costing me the AG win.

Worst run I've ever had. First 2-3 miles felt pretty good, then the wheels fell off. Struggled throughout most of the run just to keep any kind of pace.

Event comments:

I would not recommend this race. It seemed very unorganized from the very beginning. The swim course was poorly marked (small orange buoys instead of easily seen ones). Bike course organization was adequate, with signage. Run course was poorly supported. Water (only) at aid stations in 100+ temps isn't just an inconvenience, it's unsafe, especially with Hammer as an event sponsor. The finish area didn't offer anything else. No electrolytes, only water and energy drinks.
