Comments: Long transition from swim exit to transition. What would you do differently?: practice flying mount onto bike and get up to speed to get into shoes faster. ![]() Bike
Comments: Headwinds going out, nice tailwind on the way back in. What would you do differently?: Push more on the first loop and recover with the tailwind like I did on the second loop. ![]() Transition 2
Comments: Not bad for T2. Forgot my watch so I didn't have it on the run. What would you do differently?: Don't sit down to put shoes and socks on. Grab watch from bike right after racking, shoes / socks, grab race belt and hat and put them on while exiting transition. ![]() Run
Comments: Good run course. Felt comfortable for the majority of the run. Had a good kick at the end. What would you do differently?: Incorporate more hill training. Continue to do bricks and focus on getting up to race pace quickly and maintaining. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Water bottle and gatorade. Walked to the crapper to cool down. What limited your ability to perform faster: Swimming. Event comments: OUL puts on excellent races.
