Comments: Ran as planned. I planned to run just under 7:30 for the first 8 miles and then kick it up. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Light stretching. Kept moving for a few minutes to keep the knees from tightening up. What limited your ability to perform faster: Run base. Only 1 year of training under the belt. Arrived early to make sure I got parked and had time to drop off my bag. It was cold so I spent a little time indoors waiting. I waited a bit too long since when I left I dropped off my bag and the lines for the port-o-lets were too long. I didn't get to use the bathrooms before the race. I will have to time that better next time.
None. A warm up would have been a waste as we waited over 20 minutes in the corrals.
