Comments:

temp pace, legs felt good, ab cramps when trying to sprint reminded me I am no longer in race shape, but my base training is going very well, to allow me to hold 8 min pace so easily.
What would you do differently?:

Used new MP3 player. Battery went dead at 6 miles. I carried extra, but was unable to stop and change it, so I would test all equipment prior to race day.

This was a training event, not an all out race.

Event comments:

Course cannot handle number of participants. Concrete hurts after a while.

Course: Flat out and back, very crowded, people were being knocked down and trampled. I was boxed in for approx 3 miles and weaving and dodging the rest of the time. Wave starts (10), I was in the 6th wave.
