Comments: My 1st OWS! Learned how to swim in May, 2010 and do 3:30 100 meters in pool. I was so happy I finished w/o panicking. Didn't realize how cold I was until I got out and volunteer told me to run to get rid of blue lips. Was freezing! What would you do differently?: No tri's til next year so I have a full year to work on being a stronger swimmer. Transition 1
Comments: Shaking uncontrollably from cold. What would you do differently?: Next time will pack less stuff (didn't use any gels, tissues) Bike
Comments: Just wanted to survive ride - my 1st tri so needed to make sure I could do run. Loved the hills! Shook uncontrollably from cold for first 9 miles then settled in to enjoying the scenery. Also felt a bit sick from swim until mile 10. What would you do differently?: Will ride faster. I wasn't sure if I would be able to complete run but I now know better. Transition 2

Comments: Felt really good on the run. So glad at this point to be done w/swim and bike. What would you do differently?: Run even faster. Running is my fav sport so will take it up a notch. Post race
Event comments: This was my 1st tri so it'll always be my favorite. Enjoyed the hills as this made for an interesting ride/run - nice variety. Volunteers very friendly and helpful. Last updated: 2010-09-29 12:00 AM
