Comments: Felt smooth and comfortable the whole way. Ran into and had to navigate through a lot of people from about 300M on to the finish. Slowed pace down a little but stayed strong. What would you do differently?: Maybe take more of an outside route to stay away from slower swimmers. Transition 1

Comments: Had a great feel the whole way through. Never felt like my legs were going to fall off. Held a solid pace and took in plenty of fluids. What would you do differently?: Take a gel with me for extra nutrition. Transition 2

Comments: Felt very strong and pushed myself. Ran a faster split than some of my 5k's in a sprint race. I just tried to race my race and play rabbit and catch the person in front of me. What would you do differently?: Nothing, executed perfectly. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: The rain! and the mass amount of athletes. Event comments: Way to many athletes allowed to race. The bike course was not wide enough and passing was rough, especially if you were a later wave. Well organized though. Last updated: 2010-09-30 12:00 AM

Light stretching. Gatorade and fruit first thing in the morning. Then powerbar about hour and half hour before race time.
