Pre-race routine:

Woke up about 3;30 at the hotel. Loaded gear into car, had a protein drink and a very light breakfast. Got to the venue by about 05:30. Was the first one on my row to set up the bike so I had lots of room.

I was suffering from a nose and chest cold the week prior, which limited my training and slowed my run a bit.

This was my first official Tri, I had a blast.
