Pre-race routine:

Meet up with brother-in-law after morning routine of coffee & PBJ. Rode to race.
Event warmup:

Chatted up with friends and other runner. Ran around block & snuck into business building for last minute potty break. Got to line w/ about 4 minutes to start.

Comments:

Good run for me. Not really trying to race this but ended up going out faster than I thought and just tried to hang on for a sub-10 pace. Got pretty close because I really struggled up the last hill.
Post race
Warm down:

Not much of one as the family was at the finish and my finished bag was inadvertently left at the house. Ended up leaving quickly b/c I was getting cold.

Event comments:

Would be slightly higher but for fact they momentarily ran out of water. They quickly rectified that. But they never got more fruit to the post-race tent so they need to be ready for the increased number of runners. The tech long-sleeve T was nice but rather garish. However, still a pretty good race overall.
