First 1/4 mile sucked. Crowded and could not get a groove. Second 1/4 mile was MUCH better.

Go out in the front to avoid thew crowds.

Was trying for 23 avg. The wind was a cross wind that was tough the entire course. Also the traffic control was less than stellar. Had to slam on the brakes more than once to avoid getting hit. Stressful bike. Could have done 23 mph without these factors.

Came in too hot so forgot to slip out of the shoes before T2. Had to run with cleats thru transition. Lost another few seconds when I racked in the wrong spot (1 row off).
What would you do differently?:

Remember where I was supposed to rack my bike :) And slip out of shoes before T2.

First 1/2 of run was tough. I had pushed it on the bike and legs were wobbly. Felt better at 1/2 way point and negative split.

Need more bike practice.

Other than the traffic control issues this is one of the best sprint races I participate in each year. Highly recommended.
