  • 55m 41s
  • 6.2 miles
  • 08m 59s  min/mile
Comments:

I knew I'd get burned on the hill at Highland, but the goal was to hold on to a 9min/mi leading up to it, climb it, then turn on the gas and hope for the best.

I did the job at hand and felt good doing it.

Clothing: Shorts, UA Cold Gear top, Gloves
What would you do differently?:

I only ran the course twice leading up to the race as a trial. I would've like to have run it a couple more times to prepare.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked. Grabbed water at the chute. Took a couple photos, then hightailed it to the car. It was cold.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not running enough

Event comments:

Love this race. This is the 4th time I've done it and I get faster every year. Wouldn't miss it!
