Pre-race routine:

Up early. Ate the normal breakfast of yoghurt, cereal and a cup of tea. Then had a cup of coffee in the car while driving to the race. Took about 1h15 and arrived on the early side. Hung out at the C'ville tent.

A good swim in which I focused on being relaxed the whole way. Minimal contact with my wave. Did have contact when I caught up with swimmers from a previous wave.

Need to get better at this. If I had the same transition times as the winner in my ag, I would have won. I need to shorten my suit so it does not get stuck on heels and get tri shoes and ride sockless.

Felt slight cramps in my legs. Walked around, had a swim and then relaxed.
