Pre-race routine:

Good nights sleep. Woke up, showered and had a cup of coffee. Drove down to the parking lots, but they were all filled. Ended up parking in one of the outer lots and taking a shuttle to the start.
Event warmup:

Hung out with my ex at the very last corral waiting for the race to start. Jogged a bit to warm up and sipped on some water.

Comments:

Much slower than last year's 2:00:52, but this was still a solid race for me. Came in suffering some foot and leg pain which affected my training, but I ran the entire way, which was my main goal.
What would you do differently?:

Train better. Do more speed work. Lose weight.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Injuries during training.

Event comments:

I love this race, but the secret is definitely out. Never seen the event this crowded, but the shuttles were very timely. Next time, I'm just going to go straight to the offsite lot instead of trying to park on the beach. I think the race is organized well and logistically very easy to get in and out of. Lots of volunteers.
Great way to start off the race season.
