Comments: I do not know any of my times because they will not post and have ignored my request for help. My ironman watch died the day before and I was unable to replace before hand. What would you do differently?: Get a watch. ![]() Transition 1

Comments: I did not ride good. I had not done enough hills prior to the race. Again no times. What would you do differently?: Better early season hill training. ![]() Transition 2

Comments: Volunteers were wonderful. Some real issues with course layout. They did not seem to care about the finishers of the half. The pros and the oly got the treatment. They said there was a 9 hour cutoff but when I finished only one volunteer handing out t shirts and the jumbotron had been taken down. There was more than an hour left before cutoff when I finished. ![]() Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Training time Event comments: They will not return emails regarding questions. I waited 6 months and have emailed at least 3 different people. Todd answered a pre race question within 24 hours and post race will not. They state that they would give water bottles and towels but they did not. Cool shirts for finishing. They advertised that family and friends would have the best tracking of athletes, but in reality it was not close to ironman timing and they will not post times. If they will not communicate, lie on their claims of what every athlete gets, and generally do not care about middle or back of the pack athletes this potentially great race will not survive. I will never spend this kind of money on one of their races without some big time improvement. Last updated: 2010-10-15 12:00 AM

Good pre-race setup. Nice name tags and volunteers were awesome. I stayed at inlays about 45 minutes away so a little earlier wakeup than normal.
