Good start. Held the lead through the first half mile. Hills killed me. Got passed by 3rd and 4th in the last mile.

Warm down:

Hang out with the boys and dad.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Weight. Still at about 217. This pretty much sealed the deal for me.

Event comments:

Not a very deep field at all. Winner went just below 20 minutes. Still a nice speed work training day before a long run tomorrow. Nice to have a PR too (post weight loss) by over 2 minutes. I will take it!
