What would you do differently?: warm up more and eat less Transition 1
Comments: I tool my time getting socks and shoes on. What would you do differently?: need to run with bike and learn to jump on while moving. Bike
Comments: It was a tough course and my chain came off. Bike needs tune up. What would you do differently?: Take a gel during race. Drink more water. Tune up bike before race! Transition 2
Comments: I forgot to take the helmet off. What would you do differently?: Remember to take my helmet off. Run
Comments: I was toast after the brutal bike course. About 1/3 the way through I finally got my running legs and was able to run most of the downhill and flats. What would you do differently?: I will remember to take off my bike helmet!!! Train harder for hills and do more bricks. Post race
Warm down: Walked around until I cooled down. Nice to have my Mom there to give me a hug. I ate after I had a massage and had lots to drink. What limited your ability to perform faster: I didn't train hard enough for the difficulty, but it was my first so I will do better in the nest one. Event comments: Timming chips would be a plus, but I think their old fasion ways of timing worked fine for me. Last updated: 2006-02-23 12:00 AM

My mom fixed my eggs and bacon. Way too heavy of food before a race. I took a hammer gel 15 minutes before I swam and a puff of my inhaler.
