Comments:

Ran very well. I was very happy to have so many miles at the beginning under 7:00. My goal was 1:35:00 (7:15mpm). Felt great until mile 9, then I had to slow a little but by mile 11 I was pretty exhausted. I wasn't sure my legs were going to keep going. I have not run that fast for more than 3 miles.
What would you do differently?:

At my current fitness level, I don't think I could have done anything differently to increase my time. I am very proud of this. My previous PR was a 1:40:52 so I beat that by over 7 mins so I can't be anything but amazed at how I ran today. I definitely see a 3:20 marathon as a very achievable goal for Miami in January.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked and stretched while waiting for Courtney to finish. My calves were a little tight.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing!

Event comments:

Very good race. They have lots of volunteers and runners to make it a worthwhile event!

Ranked 20/1156 for Women.

Performance: Good
1m - 7:07 (had to weave through a lot of people who started too close to the front) 2m - 6:58 3m - 6:48 4m - 6:53 5m - 6:57 (34:45) 6m - 6:56 7m - 6:59 8m - 7:02 9m - 7:12 10m - 7:12 (1:10:09) 11m - 7:20 (started to die with the long very gradual inclines over this portion of the course) 12m - 7:44 13m - 7:33 0.1m - :44
Course: Course through downtown Orlando. Nice course, different from last year but I think it was a better course. No hills but quite a few long gradual inclines. The last 1/2 mile was mostly at a decline so that was nice.
