Comments: Goal was 7:30 miles with a stretch goal of 7:00s, so did ok considering my calf issue and starting easy for the first 1/2 mile. I think I was around 7:00 - 7:10 for miles 2 and 3. What would you do differently?: Not have to start the race with a tweaked calf. Post race
Warm down: Jogged, walked and stretched. Hit the hot tub and took a long shower and stretched some more. What limited your ability to perform faster: Slight injury. Normal breakfast of waffles with syrup, coffee and water.
Walked, jogged and stretched to no avail: right calf that I tweaked last Monday tweaked worse upon first up-tempo stretch of warmup. Contemplated not running at all, but decided to start easy and see how it went.
