Swim
Comments: First time swimming in a 50 meter pool. I was slow, but I expected that. I actually passed quite a few people. It got really jammed up at the walls, with people resting. My feet were numb from standing on the cold pool deck and took a couple of laps to get feeling back. What would you do differently?: More swimming lessons. Transition 1
Comments: I managed to throw on a bunch of clothes faster than I thought possible, Running with my bike in my cleats was a joke, I think I would have been faster walking. Bike
Comments: I was much. much slower than I thought I was. My bike computer was not working, but I really thought I was much faster. Passed a lot of people. Overall I was disappointed to average ~2 miles slower than my normal, long rides. Transition 2
Comments: Need to practice getting off and running with the bike. Run
Comments: I barely felt I was moving the entire run. My legs felt heavy and numb until halfway through. I was pleasantly surprised by my time, I expected much slower. My left calf cramped up the last 1/2 mile. Achilles was fine the entire time. What would you do differently?: This was my first time to run after biking, so I really need to do more of it. Post race

Ran a bit, but did not really matter since I had to stand around for 40 minutes in the cold, in my bathing suit.
