Comments: Right on target, had to sprint to the finish to get the 1:30 overall. Time management more of a struggle on the second half. Except for one small uphill at the very end, the last 4 miles are so are downhill. Speed training helped. Not training for long distance triathlons during this period helped focus on running. What would you do differently?: Not much. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Chatted with a few finishers and spectators. Walked back to the car. What limited your ability to perform faster: Body composition and athletic ability. Probably some function of genetics, training, and related HRs/VO2. Event comments: Great course through downtown Seattle, including running on the Express Way and through the tunnel.
