Swim
Comments: Great Swim! I could have gone longer and keep that same pace. What would you do differently?: Maybe I could have gone a little faster. Transition 1
Comments: Transition was big due to the fact that there lots of people, so it took a while to get to the mount line Bike
Comments: Very good bike ride. Right on the nose for estimated time. The first hill was the hardest, and my calves did start to cramp up after it, but I took it easy for a little bit and they got better. What would you do differently?: More time on the bike would be good & maybe a bike fit to make some adjustments. Transition 2
Run
Comments: After the first 1 mile my quads started cramping up to the point all I could do was run for about 25-30 steps (slowly) and then I would need to walk for about a min to keep the really painful cramps from coming back. What would you do differently?: Not sure yet, but I need to get the cramps under control Post race
Warm down: walked around What limited your ability to perform faster: The quad cramps during the run. The swim, T1, bike and T2 were great. Event comments: I enjoyed this race. It was my first Olympic and I will be back next year! Last updated: 2010-11-09 12:00 AM

No real warm-up. After the bus dropped us off at the swim start (the swim was a point to point swim) walked around to keep the legs warm.
