Comments:

Started the race w/ my son who was running the 8k and got me started on the right pace (9:00). Suprisingly kept that up until approximately mile 11 at which time I started feeling my lack of preparation (hydration and nutrition) and struggled to finish by slowing the pace way down.
What would you do differently?:

Eat and drink right. Had the company Christmas Party the night before and...you can surmise the rest of the story.

Great organization (Port City Pacers) that started on time and had plenty of drink stations.
