Nothing much, I got there at 5.45am, the earliest I have ever gotten to a race, I was expecting a big turn out and didn't want to park too far away.

I felt good despite swimming over plenty of people, it was a VERY big field, from 20-34 males.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, wetsuit helped.

The suit stuck a little on the heels but no more than expected. It was good to get it out ready for Busselton.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe some anti-chaff on the heels? Dunno if it works though.

I haven't been on the bike for the past 2 weeks and haven't done much training for the past 3 due to work and family.

I got passed by a fast girl so I kept with her for a while and pushed myself not to slack off.
What would you do differently?:

I am working on my running and it is paying off for me.

Warm down:

The usual presentations thing but this time I went to a friends BBQ at the Surf Club for about 4hrs.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I was a little slower on the bike but held the pace comfortably enough.
I am happy with my swim and run though.

Event comments:

I am glad there are now 2 events here, it is a good venue and a good challenge as it is always windy here and the hills are sharp.
