Comments: Went with a friend who has been running for years. He gave me lots of coaching and "coping" advice. Timing chip didn't work. I assume b/c it was in my pocket not on laces. I walked about half of the course. Lungs burned going up the hills; shins burned going down the hills. Somehow I call this a great time. What would you do differently?: Put the chip where I'm supposed to! Train! Post race
