First race ever - so no set routine yet. Got there, found my place in the rack and set up my transition.

Generally enjoyed this leg. The course wasn't very crowded so got a chance to overtake without drama.

Not drop my bike computer. Learn to get off the bike quicker.

Loved the run. Feet were a little numb at the start but came good about 500m in. Felt really good and quick from 500m onward. Overtook lots of people :)

Transitions were slow. Numb feet. Flapping skirt/short.

Event comments:

This was an excellent introduction to triathlons! I had a fantastic time. I chose this one because I've been nervous about the swim. Given that this swim was protected by a pier, I'm still a little nervous about an open water swim. Next 2 races will give a better indication of my ability in that department.
