Tried to keep the swim easy so I wouldn't have my heart rate shoot through the roof at the start of the bike. That I did - kept the effort real easy. Gave up the AG win, but a bike split is what I was really after in this race.

Put up a very good bike split. Slow start and coasted too much at the end, but other than that a good effort. Without the slow bookends I was chugging along at 24.4mph. Aimed for 250w average and measured out at 249. No complaints there.

Need to learn to get feet out of the shoes and leave the shoes on the bike.
