Swim
Comments: The water was salty as all heck, which likely helped with buoyancy and, by extension, swimming. The lake is 90 feet deep and kinda comfortable. What would you do differently?: Not much. I just need to learn to swim better. Transition 1
Comments: Wasn't chip-timed, so I have no idea what my transition time was. I did pretty good 'cause I didn't use the wetsuit this time. I goofed the mount/dismount line a little. What would you do differently?: Be more careful about where I mount the bike. That's it.I'm pretty happy with my performance in this transition. Bike
Comments: I improved from my first event, so I'm happy with my performance. I want to do better, but this is better than 5 weeks ago. What would you do differently?: Just try to push harder. I'm still learning what my limits are. Transition 2
Comments: Not bad. long-ish run from the rack to the course. The RD had carpet to run on to the racks and it wasn't cluttered. What would you do differently?: Not much, I'm happy with my transition. Run
Comments: I was able to push myself harder than last time. I'm pretty happy with it. My legs still didn't want to work, but I made them work. Sort of. What would you do differently?: Just push a little harder, as with everything. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Just my own mind. I probably could have done everything a little faster, but I'm still learning my own limits, so I'm not yet sure how far I can push myself with each portion of the race. Event comments: I was a little surprised at how informal this event was. No chips for timing, no real starting line, and they weren't very strict with anything. It was all kinds of fun, but I think it could be run a little more precise. Last updated: 2010-12-26 12:00 AM

I actually slept. It was awesome. Then a light breakfast and got to transition to stretch.
I should have warmed-up more, but as it was I just stretched.
